Noosa PEC 2025 Wrap-Up

Regional Australia Leading the Energy Transition

The Noosa Power & Energy Conference 2025 brought together leaders from across the energy, government, and investment sectors for two days of high-level insights and collaboration.

Keynotes from Tony Wood (Grattan Institute) and The Hon. Matt Kean set the tone, highlighting the pivotal role of regional Australia in driving the nation’s transition to net zero. Other standout sessions featured economic insights from Tim Buckley (Clean Energy Finance), industry pioneer Joseph O’Brien (founder of CopperString), and a diverse group of experts tackling the challenges and opportunities across solar, storage, renewable gas, mining, agriculture, and community engagement.

Delegates valued the conference’s boutique design, with focused content, exclusive networking opportunities, and Noosa’s unique coastal setting providing a backdrop for meaningful dialogue.

As the industry navigates complex challenges and opportunities, NPEC has cemented itself as a national platform for shaping Australia’s energy and economic future.

📅 Planning is already underway for NPEC 2026. With another world-class speaker lineup and the same blend of serious sessions and Noosa-style networking, it’s set to be a highlight of the energy calendar once again.
